FREE Art Helps Us Grow Clip Art

(0)
“Art helps us grow” is the message that this cute cheerful flower wants the world to know as his brushes dipped in all of the colors of the rainbow spin around his sunflower face as he emerges from the earth. Art gives children unlimited potential to solve problems, think creatively and to express their thoughts. I commend all of the wonderful teachers out there that support the arts and see the amazing potential that art has to radiate positivity in the hearts of everyone. Included are a bright vivid colored in version and a black and white version drawn by me, suitable for coloring for the student. Can be used to teach the colors of the rainbow with the 7 paint brushes symbolizing the petals. Can be used to customize name tags and much more for the students. The possibilities are endless. Included with the transparent high resolution 300 DPI PNGS of the color and the black and white version is a PDF with my terms of use. My clip art cannot be used for commercial purposes and profit. It is allowed to be used for educational purposes only.

This activity will focus on building their fine motor skills by testing their hand strength and finesse in order to build the tree. They will also learn about the process of how and why the leaves change colors from the transition of the spring and summer season to the fall season. Lastly, they will write their own observations of what changes occur to the earth during the fall season. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.

Recycled Dot Day Air Balloon

(0)
Students will be able to express their creativity and recognize that they can make their mark confidently without worrying about “getting it perfect” by going through the process of designing and constructing a 3- dimensional dot that will be transformed into a hot air balloon to honor the anniversary of International Dot Day that occurs every September 15th. Peter H. Reynold’s book “The Dot” has a powerful message of creativity, bravery and potential to inspire the students and help them see that they are part of a giant effort to make the world a better place by encouraging others to reach their full potential. They will learn to differentiate the concepts of two-dimensional art verses three-dimensional art. We will have a discussion mirroring the main character’s Vashti’s questioning of her confidence with drawing concerning if they have ever felt that they were not good at something and how can they overcome it. We will discuss the meaning of encouragement and how that helps to propel us and the snowball effect of encouraging others to spread confidence. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.
